Taking a quick break

From the character designs that is. I've been getting pretty good at them, I think anyway, but I recently was given a commission that I really need to get done before I dink around with more manga stuff.

Hmmm, let's see. I currently work as a Neurology tech at a great hospital, it's kind of crazy because it's pretty darn close to being a mad scientist. Anatomy and physiology were always interests of mine, I think that's why I took so many classes in college and I know that they helped me draw the way I do.

Right now I'm trying to develop my own style of drawing comics, and am working on a manga in hopes to get it published, at least online.

I need inspiration... my dream is to work for a successful video game developer as a conceptual designer and I'm having one of those doubting moments.. ya know the kind, where ya start to question if you're good enough. I know that I have a long way to go before I can be the best, but I'd like to know that I'm getting somewhere with all this.

I'm in the middle of drawing this really neat creature design when all of these 'emo' thoughts hit me.
